Your program.
Your way.

It's the spreadsheet you wish you had, with none of the broken formulas. Build the block once in blocks, days, and exercises, then let the math run: prescribe every lift the way you actually think about it, stack top sets with backdowns, and bump a training max to re-solve the whole program.

  • Five ways to prescribe intensity: RPE, RIR, % of training max, % of e1RM, or fixed kg per week
  • Top sets with backdown or ascending sets, adjustable week by week
  • Rep ranges and AMRAP, with the bar weight still auto-calculated
  • Bump one training max and every week, backdown, and accessory re-solves
  • New accessories auto-derive a training max from your first logged week
  • Log actual weight and RPE; anything off-plan flags automatically
  • Tailor the dashboard, or assign the block to athletes with per-athlete maxes

Questions, answered.

General

What is RPE-based programming?

RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) prescribes effort instead of a fixed weight. A top set at RPE 8 means about two reps in reserve, so you pick the weight that matches the effort on the day and training self-adjusts to how strong you are that session. PrimedLifter can prescribe by RPE, RIR, percentage of training max, percentage of estimated 1RM, or fixed weekly jumps.

What is block periodization?

Block periodization splits training into focused phases, for example a volume block, then strength, then a peaking block into a meet. Each block emphasises one quality. In PrimedLifter each block is its own structure, and finishing one rolls you into the next automatically.

How do I set my training max?

Your training max (TM) is the working number the app calculates bar weights from, usually a recent confident single or a percentage of your true max. You set it per lift in My Lifts, override it per program, and every week recalculates automatically when it changes. New accessories can also auto-derive a TM from your first logged week.

Can I create my own lifts?

Yes. Alongside the main competition lifts you can add your own accessories and variations in My Lifts, link an accessory to a parent lift with a percentage multiplier so it scales with your training max, and set a training max for any lift.

What can I track?

Every set's actual weight and RPE, plus notes and a video link per set. From there PrimedLifter charts your estimated 1RM, average intensity, and weekly-set volume per block and across the whole mesocycle, tracks bodyweight, and scores your total with DOTS, Wilks, and IPF GL. On meet day it tracks your attempts live.

Can I export programs to Excel?

Yes. Export any program to a styled spreadsheet you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. You can also export your full account data or delete your account from Settings at any time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month (or annual if you choose it) and you can change or cancel whenever you like. Your programs and logs stay in your account.

For coaches

Do my athletes have to pay?

No. Any athlete you connect to your coach account always trains for free. You pay by how many athletes you're actively coaching.

Can I assign one program to my whole roster?

Yes. Assign one block to every athlete and each logs into their own record, so no one overwrites anyone. Set a training max per athlete, switch between athletes right inside the builder, and grant Metrics access per program when you want them to see their charts.

For coached athletes

Do I pay if my coach uses PrimedLifter?

No. Any athlete connected to a coach's account trains for free, with the full builder, logging, and metrics. Your coach's plan covers you.

Where does my coach's feedback show up?

On your dashboard. Text notes and video comments your coach leaves resurface on the same lift the next time you train it, so the cue arrives right when you need it.

For self-coached athletes

Is it free for solo athletes?

Yes, the core is free: build and log your own programs, track your metrics, plan meet day, and browse public programs that coaches share. A Pro tier (€9/mo, coming soon) adds more for solo lifters: share your lifts and programs, follow other lifters and copy their programs, training groups, branded workout share cards, and velocity tracking.

Do I need a coach to use it?

No. The builder, logging, RPE chart, metrics, and meet-day tools are all self-serve and free for athletes. A coach account adds roster management on top.
